Project Summary

Robinson was awarded a contract to perform as the design-build contractor on a warehouse addition project for the world’s largest food and beverage company at their facility in Anderson, Indiana.

The project includes construction of a 21,560 sq ft warehouse addition that will be used for storing bulk raw materials and preform plastics. The new building addition is constructed of precast concrete wall panels with a structural steel frame, membrane roof, five (5) new loading docks and a new overhead door with ramp. Additionally, demolition of the existing concrete lot and ramp was required. Interior work included installation of new IMP partition walls to divide the new and existing warehouse in half, new racking and rearrangement of existing racking, new fire sprinkler, lighting, and HVAC.

Construction on this project was completed in two (2) phases and during 24/7 warehouse unloading operations.
